Ren started making music back in school when he picked up a copy of 'magix music maker' that came with an issue of computer music magazine. Early productions were predominantly dubstep , notching up several releases under an alias 'Skeng'.

After falling out of love with dubstep he spent the next few years going through many different styles and alias's learning about and experimenting with different genres (with a release on sidechains along the way). Eventually settling on making music under one blanket name of Misuso.

At first this album was created as a gift to his loved ones after going through a difficult time , hence the name, friends and family. His friends would play the album and rave about how good it is.

We are very excited to be championing this wonderful debut album from a young talented producer from our home town of Bristol. A collection of super chilled downtempo tracks, cleverly crafted with jazz and gospel samples, reminiscent of Nightmare On Wax's Smokers Delight and Early Ninja Tunes records.

We have also a remix package coming later in the year so watch this space for that too.
