Boogie Cafe's journey has been quite a ride since its inception in 2014.

Started by three Bristol friends, Jimmy ‘The Twin’ Gallagher, Danny Capozzi, and Alex Dinham, the label has grown steadily to nearly 50 releases to date. While the music and team have evolved over the years, it started with a simple premise - home cooked edits, upfront boogie and deep disco cuts for the party dancefloor. This compilation is an ode to where it all began ✂🎵🕺🔊🥳✨

Among their early catalogue, one standout is "Midnight Shuffle," a track by label founder Jimmy The Twin, showcasing his unique style and musicality.

Additionally, the compilation features collaborative efforts between Jimmy and co-founder Alex under their Afro Pancake alias: "Nothing To It." and further tracks "Maple Loco" and "Dynamite" . The majority of these were originally limited, vinyl-only releases, many of which have become collector's items, with a few still circulating at high prices on platforms like Discogs.

In 2020 Jimmy stepped back, paving the way for label artist Chezz to join the fold, adding new energy and perspectives to Boogie Cafe's creative journey. Thanks to Sean McCabe's skilful remastering, these tunes are now ready to light up disco and boogie dance floors once again.
